In June of 2003, we were the first to market with original "Frodo Has Failed, Bush Has the Ring" merchandise.

Frodo Has Failed Gear has been available since June 2003. The Fellowship Has Failed Gear has been available since May 2005. These are independent parodies/political satire verified as permissible through the legal representatives of Tolkien Enterprises Corporation as of May 12, 2005.

I saw this sticker on a truck in front of me on the way home today - only thing that made me smile for the day.

Not much on politics, but I do miss my job, and my health insurance, and a half dozen other things I had way back at the beginning of the 'new' century. I heard about this bumper sticker earlier this evening and couldn't help but smile, I'm getting it for others who will enjoy the pleasure of a smile this Christmas. Folks in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Florida have dealt with several devastating hurricanes this year. Folks all over the world have dealt with devastating meteorological events this year. We can't control these things, but we can lend our assistance when at all possible. As much as I'd like to bash Bush, I can't anymore, it's boring and redundant. But, I will happily display and wear my new Frodo Failed....for all the world to see. Happy Holidays to you all!

As much as I hate Bush, it makes me want to cry that someone would put Bush and anything Lord of the Rings related on the same product. Tolkien doesn't deserve this.
